An interesting study; summer and fall are my favorites.

So beautiful....you've captured the seasons so beautifully.

Sorry to read of your season of illness, as well, and pray that you, too, are recovering. You are so right...there are always so many more who are suffering much more than we are. I subscribe to a ministry blog out of Haiti that breaks my heart almost daily...with reports of children dying of malnutrition. Precious babies. Lord, have mercy.

The plant you asked me about in the collage is also top center...it is sorghum and is a tall grass with leaves much like corn that grows wild under trees where I had previously hung bird feeders. The seeds must have been in the birdseed mix. They make a lovely fall foliage, in fact, I have cut several flower heads for arrangements inside. I've also seen where the heads have been crafted into wreaths.
