It Came Upon A Midnight Clear

"It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold:
"Peace on the earth, goodwill to men
From heavens all gracious King!"
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing."

"Still through the cloven skies they come,
With peaceful wings unfurled;
And still their heavenly music floats
O'er all the weary world:
Above its sad and lowly plains
They bend on hovering wing,
And ever o'er its Babel sounds
The blessed angels sing."

"O ye beneath life's crushing load,
Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way
With painful steps and slow;
Look now, for glad and golden hours
Come swiftly on the wing;
Oh rest beside the weary road
And hear the angels sing."

"For lo! the days are hastening on,
By prophets seen of old,
When with the ever-circling years
Shall come the time foretold,
When the new heaven and earth shall own
The Prince of Peace, their King,
And the whole world send back the song
Which now the angels sing."
~ Edmund Hamilton Sears (words)

May we all find the true meaning of Christmas in our hearts and homes during this holiday season; and may the joy of knowing Him shine through us as a light to the world in the days and years to come. From our home to yours... have a blessed Christmas.

I can't believe you got more snow than we did! Your cars weren't in the garage?  That is too bad. I hope that you can get it dug out and get to the airport in time for her flight. Be safe!!

I have decided to keep the decorations up at least until the 8th, when our friends come for dinner, and that only gives me nine days to get them down and put away and get the house cleaned again before book club meets here. Ai-Ai-ai!!

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with
hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no backup.

Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?
