The Chrysler Building: Mirrored in Manhattan
(Click picture for larger view)

"It is the city of mirrors, the city of mirages, at once solid and liquid, at once air and stone." ~ Erica Jong (American writer)The Chrysler Building in Manhattan; a shiny skyscraper with intricate architectural detail, stands adjacent to tall flat-walled high rise buildings with windows that become gigantic mirrors during the day and innumerable small squares of light shining in the darkness of night. With a bright sunny day and fluffy white clouds in the sky, the streets below take on a dark shadowy look in comparison to the silver shine of the "Chrysler". I love how the sky and clouds are mirrored and seem to almost reach ground level. And look! The Chrysler Building has a twin.
Submission for SeeItSunday topic "mirror". This was a very similar topic to Pxite's "reflections" and the entries could be interchanged for both. (end of post)
