Brooklyn Botanical Bunny (Click picture for larger view)

"Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen." ~ John Steinbeck (American Novelist and Writer, Nobel Prize for Literature for 1962, 1902-1968)This little bunny was at home in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden's huge rose garden. It is paradise here for the little creature; plenty to eat, lovely fountains and ponds to drink from and a wide variety of safe hidden nooks to nest. He didn't seem particularly frightened and sat patiently waiting for me to set up the tripod and camera; almost as if he knew the drill. To the gardener, he and his friends are pests, eating the delicate rose leaves, even the flowers. I just thought it amazing how well he blended in with the background.
