The Days Are Short.....

The small rose bush is entwined with pumpkin vines, yet continues to bloom. A small climbing rose with blood red flowers; the buds open quickly and just as quickly, petals float gently to the ground. This rose caught just before the petals drop, a small teardrop of rain remains to say "good-bye".

I really like this rose much better in the sepia tone. It feels old, antique. Submission to SeeItSunday for topic "sepia". (end of post)
