"No mind is thoroughly well-organized that is deficient in a sense of humor." ~ Samuel Taylor Coleridge (English romantic poet & critic)
I think Canadian geese have a sense of humor. They not only winter here; many stay around all summer as well. They congregate near the middle school down the street and around the small lake at Mt. Trashmore. Everything is done as a group. They eat as a group, sleep as a group, fly as a group and sometimes it seems they even poop as a group. They march down the middle of the roadway, the sidewalks; anywhere they please. Waddling and honking. Honking and waddling. Here they are quite organized, marching two by two or three abreast. Not bad, at least until they get to the waters edge, then there is usually a log jam or traffic jam and tempers flare. Everyone wants to get in the water at the same time. The biting and pinching commence. Wait, that sounds like the "organized marches" held this week.

Submission for PhotoFriday topic "organized". (end of post)
