Fog

Fog in the mountains. (Click picture for larger view) Posted by Picasa
"Like a man traveling in foggy weather, those at some distance before him on the road he sees wrapped up in the fog, as well as those behind him, and also the people in the fields on each side, but near him all appears clear, though in truth he is as much in the fog as any of them." ~ Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
Early morning in the mountains of West Virginia, the clouds threaten rain and the fog hangs low around the curves of the road. Occasionally the blue of the mountain peaks show through, but the valley is shrouded with the dense grey curtain. I have driven in much worse. There is mystery in the fog, cloaked secrets to be discovered when the weather finally clears.
