The cleaning session. (Click pictures for larger view)

"One is never sure, watching two cats washing each other, whether it's affection, the taste, or a trial run for the jugular." ~ Helen ThomsonMiss Clover and Miss Chloe clean each other regularly. They are thorough doing ears, face, neck, back and stomach. Most of the time this is a mutual ritual that leads of course to a nap. Occasionally however, one or the other will be too aggressive with the sandpaper tongue and a biting fest will break out. So far no one has drawn blood but some day ......

Going for the jugular.
Be sure to visit all the animals at Friday's Ark and at the Carnival of the Cats on Sunday, November 6th; hosted this week by Pages Turned. (end of post)
