"So divinely is the world organized that every one of us, in our place and time, is in balance with everything else." ~ Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749-1832)This fellow was resting, balancing on one leg; poised on the edge of a lion's paw, just outside the New York Public Library in Manhattan. Like the seagulls of Virginia Beach, pigeons are everywhere and they've never met a piece of bread or popcorn or even pizza, that they didn't like. I expect this public library will be busy and full today with the heat index over 100 degrees and a heat warning in effect. The art museums and other indoor venues will be filled as well; the pigeons may have to find an overpass shade today.
Submission for Tuesday's Photos topic "balance". (end of post)
