"In Beethoven's music I sense a master mind, fully conscious of the qualities of heartful soaring imagination that are god-like in a man. The striving for entity, oneness in diversity, depth in design, repose in the final expression of the whole... all these are there in common pattern between architect and musician." ~ Frank Lloyd WrightI love stained glass windows; any color, any shape, any size. These have the geometric design Frank Lloyd Wright is known for but they are each different and the colors bold, yet simple. These hang in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York surrounded by other stained glass and mosaic tile works, most by Tiffany. The contrast between the works is startling; each designer a genius in different ways. The art museum also contains a complete room designed by Mr. Wright; a library and furnishings in this same geometric style. I'll have to post about that later.
