This squirrel was enjoying some corn on the deck of my cousin's house in Indiana. He posed for his picture in spite of the single digit temperature and the eight inches of snow. A hard worker, he eventually carried the corn cob up a tree to perch on a limb stump and savor each bite in peace.
"Squirrels for nuts contend, and, wrong or right,
For the world's empire kings ambitious fight.
What odds?--to us 'tis all the self-same thing,
A nut, a world, a squirrel, and a king."
