Clover: Contemplating the Tree

Clover contemplates the tree, (Click picture for larger view) Posted by Picasa
The Cat's Christmas Tree

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
your limbs make me so happy.
They're so much fun to tug and pull,
how are thy limbs so climbable?

Got in trouble, made the star drop,
it's so much cuter with me on top.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
much pleasure doth thou bring me.

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
your ornaments delight me,
the way they tease I can't ignore,
I'd rather see them on the floor.

Let's not forget the Christmas lights,
they're so much fun for me to bite.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
much pleasure doth thou bring me.

Clover quietly sits staring at the bright lights and shiny ornaments on the tree. Her ears flutter as she spies a "dog" ornament center stage. "Where are the cat ornaments?" This may be a problem. Quick Nyssa, find that Precious Moment kitty ornament to put on the tree!

Clover will be taking her tree to Friday's Ark and to the Carnival of the Cats, hosted this Sunday by Music and Cats. (end of post)
