Max: Showing off his Christmas decorations. (Click picture for larger view)
"No matter how little money and how few possessions you own, having a dog makes you rich." ~ Louis SabinMax loves his doghouse. For Christmas we decided to let him live the life of Snoopy, so we decorated the roof and gave him a little wreath. Now he is truly happy. Max didn't cost us anything, that is we didn't buy him as a puppy. We really don't know how old he is, just an estimate by the vet. He was lost, out on the streets, shaggy, matted, sick, but still loving when we found him. Now we just want him to be comfortable and happy. He's smart but independent, obedient but still wants his own way, learning to trust again. Who knows now if he considers us to be as priceless to him as he has become to us?
Submission for Photo Tuesday topic "priceless". Max said he wants to show his lights to the other dogs (all right, if you insist mom; and cats) at Friday's Ark and also go see his friends at the Carnival of the Dogs, hosted by Mickey's Musings. He is such a show off. (end of post)
