"Colors must fit together as pieces in a puzzle or cogs in a wheel." ~ Hans Hofmann
Skeins of cotton yarn in every color of the rainbow; light pastels and dark vibrant jewel tones. Some are destined for a baby's booties or crib blanket, perhaps an afghan or child's sweater. The possible projects are unlimited, subject only to the imagination of the craftsman. The puzzle? Which colors to choose, how to mix them into patterns and textures; sweaters and blankets so soft and warm.

So too in life, we choose the threads and yarns that weave together our personal tapestry, our life's story. If we pick wisely our tapestry may contain the deep jeweled tones of honor, faith, steadfastness and moral character, accented with the pastels of empathy, joy, love and peace. Individually, the threads are simply pretty colors; but together they form the patterns and textures of our soul. What color are the threads in your life story?
