A Touch of Tummy

....in the sink. (Mr. Rhett) (Click picture for larger view) Posted by Picasa
"No tame animal has lost less of its native dignity or maintained more of its ancient reserve. The domestic cat might rebel tomorrow." ~ William Conway Archbishop of Armagh (Ireland)
Mr. Rhett is usually very dignified in all his pursuits, but on occasion he finds himself in a compromising position. Last week he was caught returning to the scene of his toilet paper crime. This time he was lounging in the sink and just reached up with a back foot to scratch behind that left ear, when that dreaded red focus light went off and his dignity went "down the drain." Just a touch of tummy showing but that is more than enough to see his tiny patch of white belly hair. I don't think he minds showing his tummy; it's having that back leg in a less than elegant pose. Perhaps since Sophie's mom is away, she won't see it. But all the kitties at Tummy Tuesday, hosted by catstuff, will; then again, they are all showing their tummies too. The same can't be said by the beautiful, elegant and dignified cats over at Cats On Tuesdays, hosted by gattina.
