But a diamond is just a lump of coal that has been put under intense pressure for a long period of time, it stuck to its job and when mined is still dull, just a lump. Let a skilled craftsman have it; and with knowledge, sharp eyes and steady hands he will turn it into the most brilliant sparkling stone known to man. So too, we are all diamonds in the rough, needing to be cut and shaped by a Master's hands.
