"When we read a story, we inhabit it. The covers of the book are like a roof and four walls. What is to happen next will take place within the four walls of the story. And this is possible because the story's voice makes everything its own. ~ John BergerA warm autumn afternoon with a gentle breeze; the college campus appears deserted save for the bicycle parked, leaning silently against the stone wall. The lone figure a girl, resting under the massive archway, is totally engrossed in her book, oblivious to the beauty of the gothic buildings and the surrounding woods. She is lost in the book, in the story of lands and people far away. This is peace.
