Cats Sleep

Cats sleep. If they have their way, they sleep at least twenty hours a day. As soon as they come in the house from the sunroom in the morning, they head for favorite spots and within five minutes are asleep again. Willow hangs back, content to remain perched on her lounger for another hour or two.

Chloe finds a spot in the sun.

Rhett and Scarlett sometimes curl up together on my bed.

Other times Rhett sleeps alone, and often in strange places.

But Nicky, he finds the same spot, day after day. A soft spot on grandma's bed where he can stretch out on his back in a dark quiet room and snooze the day away.

Shhhhhh! All the kitties are asleep right now. We may have to carry them on board Friday's Ark this week, but they might wake up long enough to visit the Carnival of the Cats, hosted this week by Music and Cats. See you there! (end of post)
